MuJian was created in 2025 to support Asian theatre artists in the UK. We understand the challenges of limited access and visibility because we’ve experienced them ourselves. This initiative aims to provide professional guidance, networking opportunities, and practical support to help artists grow and succeed.

Our goal is to help Asian and international theatre makers find opportunities, share resources, and connect with the wider theatre community, while promoting Asian culture and creative voices on the UK and global stage.

To help more Asian and international artists find a foothold in the theatre and art industry through cooperation, resource sharing, and professional guidance—and to promote the development of Asian culture on the global stage.
